As a Welder/Fabricator, you will play a key role in the smooth running of production, working efficiently and competently to ensure that tasks are completed as per the company Work in Progress (WIP) List. The Technical Sales Manager will be an integral part of the sales team and is key to the success of Motive Offshore Groups’ business goals.
As Technical Sales Manager for Motive, you will carry out sales activities on assigned clients and also generate and qualify sales leads to meet company objectives. They will ensure customer satisfaction is in accordance with the Motive Offshore Quality Management System.
Motive’s reputation is built on strong relationships and service with our clients. As the Technical Sales Manager, you’ll be partnering with key customers across multiple sectors across the Energy industry. By being the focal point, you’ll have the responsibility of advising on technical solutions and components, bringing to life the project requirement and being the one that drives efficiency internally & externally. Reporting into Ryan, our European Sales Manager, you’ll be working alongside a team of Technical Sales Managers & Sales Coordinators, as well as communicating daily with our manufacturing, rentals and projects teams to deliver what’s required with first class customer service.

The Offshore Inspector responsible for the completion of our inspection services including but not limited to Lifting Gear Surveys, Load Testing, Wire Rope Inspection and NDT Inspection, to join our global offshore team.
This role is responsible for the on-site inspection services that commission and operate equipment in a safe, competent and professional manner, while working side-by-side with the client & Motive Offshore Group departments.

As a part of our Certification & Inspection team, you’ll become part of a small, hardworking, and skilled team who are used to working collaboratively and to high standards. you'll be supported by our Technical Authority and Operations teams in Kintore, who care deeply about what they do & the impact they have on the services we provide.

- Use of Motion Kinetic Software to produce good quality inspection reports ready to send to customers

- Responsible for the overall safety of themselves and all others, overseeing other Inspectors to ensure inspections and reporting is completed as per company procedures.

- Responsible for the completion of inspection services and the report package.
- Carry out LOLER surveys, capable of leading initial and follow up surveys.
- Ability to perform load testing utilising waterbags and solid weights.
- Perform NDT, dimensional and functional inspection of equipment related to oil and gas industry and renewable sector, management of equipment and personnel.
- Select, calibrate, or operate equipment used in the non-destructive testing of products or materials.
- Where qualified, carry out spooling activities such as wire rope and cable removal, change out and installation.
- Where qualified, carry out various rope access works, including the rig up and inspect rope access equipment prior to and during use.
- Where qualified, carry out visual and NDT examination of all types and construction of high-performance wire rope.
- Complete Daily Client Service Record Forms in full, with accurate times and descriptions obtaining signed approval from the client.
- Stocktake equipment on arrival at worksite, communicating any anomalies and or damage to the client and Operations Team .
- Demobilise equipment at the worksite and prepare for shipping, completing any necessary cargo manifests.
- Travelling to worldwide destinations as and when required.

The Certification & Inspection Manager for Motive Offshore Group's APAC region is a dual-function role, responsible for both technical service delivery and commercial leadership within the Certification & Inspection division. The position plays a key role in driving business growth, ensuring high-quality inspection services, and delivering technical excellence for client and company assets, in line with project requirements.
This position will lead our Technical Sales requirements, generating and qualifying leads, and ensuring customer satisfaction in line with the company’s Quality Management System.
It will also provide support to the Certification and Inspection division's operational activities, ensuring successful project execution. This will include conducting visual, Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), and Magnetic Rope Testing (MRT) inspections of Motive APAC and client equipment to the highest standard. The role will also commission and operate spooling winches and associated equipment, ensuring all operations are performed within established safety and operational standards while maintaining clear and effective communication with clients and the Operations Department.

- Advanced Testing: Execute non-destructive testing and magnetic rope testing on site.
- Database Utilization: Use the Motive online certification database for remote equipment management.
- Wire Rope Maintenance: Manage wire rope spooling, socketing, and inspection tasks.
- Crane Operations: Facilitate the removal and installation of crane wire ropes.
- Global Engagement: Participate in offshore operations and work assignments across international locations as required.
Required skills / knowledge:
- Proven technical knowledge of Motive product lines
- Previous experience in sales with the ability to achieve and exceed targets.

About the role:

The Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the project delivery team with various tasks, including but not limited to; KOM’s, project meetings, internal/external communications, schedule updates & billing support required to keep the projects running smoothly.
As a Project Coordinator, you’ll be an essential part of a collaborative, fast-paced team, gaining hands-on experience across all phases of project delivery. In this role, you’ll be involved throughout the whole project cycle and contributing from the start. It’ll offer the opportunity to build your project skills, all while building working relationships with both internal teams and clients. Over time, progression will see you adding strategic value to the projects, offering solutions-based services and the satisfaction of knowing your contribution, helps projects run smoothly and successfully for Motive.

Responsibilities:

- Adopting and promoting the Motive Offshore Group People Values and ensuring their use is embedded throughout day-to-day tasks and decision making.
- Liaise with client and/or third parties as requested.
- Arrange & participate in internal handover/KOMs.
- Record minutes of weekly project meetings.
- Assist Finance department on project specific queries.
- Supporting and assisting Project Managers.
- Communicate with procurement, design and workshop to determine delivery dates.

- Adhere to and promote Motive's sustainability initiatives, contributing to Net Zero objectives
- HSEQ – compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, and the company’s management system.
- Adherence to client safe working practices and quality assurance systems
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
- Responsible for ensuring that project activities comply with all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality (HSEQ) processes, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and manage project risks and develop appropriate mitigation strategies
Product
- Setup projects on SharePoint, Teams & Sage.
- Create Mobilisation Orders including all project information for issue to allow mobilisation to be completed.
- Take ownership of assigned projects.
- Develop detailed project plans, action trackers & timelines.
- Preparation of project specific documentation, progress reports and presentations as required.
- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure project adherence to established standards.
- Review & maintain the accuracy of projects, scope & schedule.
Required skills / knowledge:
- NVQ Business Administration or similar
- Strong IT skills in MS office including outlook, excel and word.
- Good attention to detail & ability to multi-task
- Highly organised
- Excellent communication skills

About the role:
Location: South View Place, Peterhead
Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week
The Business Apprentice will provide essential administrative support to the European Rentals Department, handling telephone calls, emails, and other correspondence in a professional and efficient manner. They will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the office, ensuring smooth coordination, maintaining supplies and equipment, and acting as a point of contact for both internal and external communications.
This is a 2-year fixed-term Modern Apprenticeship. As part of this Apprenticeship, the successful candidate will be required to undertake a Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) in Business and Administration at SCQF Level 6, delivered by North East Scotland College.
This is a workplace-based qualification, and the successful candidate will be expected to complete all coursework as instructed and meet deadlines set by their college assessor. The candidate must be willing to travel to the Aberdeen City Campus when required for induction sessions, exams, or other essential activities related to the qualification.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in a busy international business environment, develop a wide range of transferable administrative and organisational skills, and work towards a recognised qualification while earning and learning on the job.

You’ll be joining a hardworking and skilled team, who are used to working to high standards specifications of work. As part of our Rentals team, you’ll be supported by our Global Service Manager and our Equipment Logistics Coordinators.

- Liaise and correspond with key stakeholders e.g. clients, suppliers and other Departments in a professional manner; developing and maintaining good working relationships.

- Adhere to and participate in company-wide sustainability policies, procedures and initiatives as they are developed to support our Net Zero objectives.
- Lead by example in setting the highest possible standards in the promotion of People Values, HSEQ procedures and best practice, ensuring compliance to the Motive Offshore Group HSEQ Policy, procedures, standards and regulatory obligations.
- Immediately report all accidents, incidents, near misses or environmental concerns.

- Undertake the SVQ 3 Modern Apprenticeship in Business and Administration, SCQF Level 6 course
- Provide administrative support to the European Rentals Department, and others during any secondment.
- Generate and Prepare Cost reports & provide support to the Purchase Order process, including receipt invoicing and closing out of Purchase Orders.
- Manage and organize office operations and procedures.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, mail, and other communications.
- Maintain filing systems (physical and digital) and ensure records are up-to-date.
- Order and manage office supplies and inventory.
- Coordinate schedules, appointments, and meetings for staff.
- Assist with onboarding of new employees and maintaining HR records.
- Liaise with vendors, service providers, and building management.
- Ensure office compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide general support to visitors and maintain a welcoming office environment
- Undertake training and CPD as required
Required skills / knowledge:
- Good IT skills and Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Creative and proactive approach.
- Enthusiastic, can-do attitude, eager to learn
- A team player with the ability to work on own initiative
- Experience within in Customer Service and/or general administration would be advantageous however full training can be provided.
- Driving License is advantageous but not required.
