The Document Controller is responsible for the accurate management of all documents produced by the Engineering & Rentals Division and any suppliers, clients and other departments.
Responsibilities:

The Project Manager will manage the planning, scheduling, financial and administrative management of engineering and rental projects of Motive Rentals UK Ltd. The primary objective of the role is to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the client’s requirements.
Responsibilities:

Potential candidates will be invited onsite to perform a weld test and should be able to demonstrate the ability to interpret an engineering drawing at the interview stage.
Due to continued growth within our Engineering Division, we are looking for Fabricator Welders to come and join the team based onsite in Boyndie, Aberdeenshire.
Reporting to the Fabrication Chargehand, the Fabricator Welder will play a key role in the smooth running of production; working efficiently and competently to ensure that tasks are completed as per the company Work in Progress (WIP) List. The post holder will ensure products are manufactured efficiently and ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, lay out and tack up various weldments within tolerances stated in production drawings.
- To undertake MIG, Flux core welding according to production drawing.
- Carry out cosmetic finishes as required.
- To work in accordance with instructions and approved codes of practice.
- Safe operation of machinery, hand tools, lifting equipment and ensure job materials and equipment are correctly used.
- Raise requisition for consumable items and any other shortfall materials.
- Communicate with other department within operations.

Due to continued growth in the Engineering Division, we have a requirement for Hydraulic Technicians, to come and join us, based at our headquarters in Boyndie, Aberdeenshire.
The Hydraulic Technician will inspect, repair, assemble and test hydraulic equipment as required in accordance with company procedures. Undertake a variety of tasks that involve the manufacture and maintenance of hydraulic systems. The post holder will ensure products are manufactured efficiently, within the allocated delivery schedule as per operational planner and ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Assist with troubleshooting on, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Inspect and overhaul valves, motors, pumps and other hydraulic components.
Continually demonstrate safe operation of hydraulic test equipment.
Maintain housekeeping in workshop. Ensure all work areas are clean and tidy including company transport.
Safe operation of machinery, hand tools, lifting equipment and ensure job materials and equipment are correctly used.
Learn to understand assembly drawings complete with bills of material and hydraulic schematics.
Report any problems that have occurred or any questions that you may have to the Production Manager.

The Equipment Operator will commission and operate equipment in a competent and professional manner, communicating effectively with the client and Operations Department at all times.
They will also ensure products are operated efficiently, within the allocated scope of works and equipment operational limits. They will ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant HSEQ guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- To ensure client assistance and satisfaction at all times
- To attend project briefings & de-briefings
- To attend client inductions/HIRA’s as and when required
- To complete online client inductions and training as and when required
- To participate in internal and external training courses where identified
- Attend client FAT’s when requested
- To liaise and build rapport with the client whilst at the worksite
- Ensures the safe and efficient mobilisation, installation and demobilisation of equipment
- Ensures equipment is correctly prepared and ready on time to meet Client or Company requirements
- Stocktake equipment on arrival at worksite, communicating any anomalies and or damage to the client and Company

Responsibilities:
• Adopting the Motive Offshore Group People Values and ensuring their use is embedded throughout day-to-day tasks and decision making.
• Performing Turning, milling, drilling and boring operations on various machines including Lathes, Radial Drill, Milling Machine, VTL and Horizontal Borer to produce various parts and components.
• Review engineering drawings and specifications of particular products and plan the production process, including where and how to cut the work piece, the correct tools and materials for the job and the sequence of steps to follow in production of the product.
• Ensure the work piece is machined within tolerances stated in the engineering drawing using precision measuring instruments. Ensure that all measuring instruments have been calibrated and there are records kept to this effect. Ensure actual tolerance is recorded in the drawing.
• Awareness of all machine controls, operations and maintenance procedures; carry out and record all maintenance activities. Bring to the attention of the factory manager any non-conformances, take appropriate action to correct.
• Communicate with other departments within the operations function.

As HSEQ Advisor, you’ll be responsible for providing Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality Management support to the Motive Offshore Group in all worldwide locations from which it operates.
You’ll be tasked with assisting the HSEQ department in ensuring that the company complies with all Health, Safety and Environmental legislation and ISO 9001 and ISO45001 standards.

Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours per week
Responsibilities:
- Adopting the Motive Offshore Group People Values and ensuring their use is embedded throughout day-to-day tasks and decision making.
- Act as a focal point for all HSEQ issues providing specialist HSEQ advice and guidance to Management, Supervision and employees.
- Influencing HSEQ behaviours.
- Undertake HSEQ internal and external audits.
- Undertake regular HSEQ Site and Offsite Inspections.
- Assist the company in maintaining existing certification (9001 +45001) and or transitions to new certification.
- Assist the various working locations in gaining or sustaining HSEQ certification.
- Non-Conformance, Incident and Near Miss Investigation.
- Chair of HSEQ Committee.
- Providing HSEQ Support to all Motive working locations including Kintore, Boyndie, Blyth, Dubai, Houston and Norway.
- Travelling on an adhoc basis to the various Motive working locations.
- Administering the revision, control and distribution of management system documentation.
- Production and revisions of HSEQ forms.
- Preparation and distribution of KPI reports.
- Arranging and recording of planned preventative maintenance schedules.
- Developing and rolling out HSEQ training programmes.
- Maintenance and updating of the NC and Action Tracking System.
- Provide support to other departments where required with bid proposals, completion of external provider evaluation questionnaires, doc control etc.
- To endeavour to reduce risk at all times and ensure compliance with legislation and, where possible, prevention of health and safety hazards.
- Ensure employees are aware of all risks involved in their activities that may present a hazard and control measures in place to prevent and further reduce hazard.
- Ensure sub-contractors are compliant with HSE legislation, have suitable arrangements to prevent risks and adhere to all Quality requirements.
- Undertake, maintain, and annually review the identified risks, COSHH assessment and data sheets.
- Develop strong working relations with key stake-holders – clients, colleagues etc.
- To be a positive ambassador for Motive Offshore Group Ltd.
Required skills / knowledge:
- NEBOSH advantageous but not essential.
- Experience in Management Systems BS EN ISO 9001, BS EN ISO 14001 or OHSAS 18001 / ISO45001.
- Good knowledge of current Health, Safety and Environmental Protection Legislation.
- Good presentation skills and the ability to deliver training for the requirements of the current Health & Safety Legislation.
- The ability to influence and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.
- Good computer literacy.
- Self-motivated and ability to work under pressure.
- Assertive with meticulous attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
• A Lead inspector is responsible for the completion of Inspection Services and the report package.
• Carry out Loler surveys, capable of leading initial and follow up surveys.
• Able to perform load testing utilising waterbags and solid weights.
• Duties may include NDT, dimensional and functional inspection of equipment related to oil and gas industry and renewable sector, management of equipment and personnel.
• Dealing with clients, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with the company policies and procedures, complying to all Company Safety, Environmental and Quality Policies and Procedures.
• Responsible for the overall safety of themselves and all others, overseeing other Inspectors to ensure inspections and reporting is completed as per company procedures.
• Supervision and onsite training of less experienced Inspectors, assist with on-going personnel competency.
• Use of Kinetic Software for the production of good quality inspection reports ready to send to customers
• Complete Daily Client Service Record Forms in full, with accurate times and descriptions obtaining signed approval from the client.
• Stocktake equipment on arrival at worksite, communicating any anomalies and or damage to the client and Operations Team
• Demobilise equipment at the worksite and prepare for shipping, completing any necessary cargo manifests.

About the role:
Due to ongoing growth in our Engineering Division and our focus on providing an efficient and safe environment for our staff, we have a requirement for a Fabricator/Welder Assistant, to come and join us, based in our headquarters in Boyndie Drome, Banff.
The Assistant Fabricator/Welder will play a key role in the smooth running of production, working efficiently and competently to ensure that tasks are completed as per the company Work in Progress (WIP) List. The post holder will ensure products are manufactured efficiently and ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
This would suit someone with a skilled background similar to Fabrication and/or Welding, and would like to gain more experience in this area, with a possibility of moving into a Fabricator/Welder position in the future.
Responsibilities:
• Adopting the Motive Offshore Group People Values and ensuring their use is embedded throughout day-to-day tasks and decision making.
• Assist with the set up, lay out and tack up various weldments within tolerances stated in production drawings.
• Assist with and occasional perform minor flux core welding according to production drawing.
• Carry out cosmetic finishes as required.
• To work in accordance with instructions and approved codes of practice.
• Safe operation of machinery, hand tools, lifting equipment and ensure job materials and equipment are correctly used.
• To ensure equipment, work areas and storage areas are kept tidy.
• Cleaning and preparation of materials for welding.
• Communicate with other department within operations.
• HSEQ – compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, and the company’s management system.
• Develop strong working relations with key stake-holders – clients, colleagues etc.
Required skills / knowledge:
• Experience within a Fabrication shop would be advantageous.
