As Lead Equipment Operator, your role will be to commission and operate equipment in a competent and professional manner, communicating effectively with the client and Operations Department at all times.
The Lead Equipment Operator will ensure products are operated efficiently, within the allocated scope of works and equipment operational limits. They will ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant HSEQ guidelines.
The work our Offshore team do is where everything we do, comes together. From the Manufacturing to Sales, Logistics to Finance, it all comes to fruition when you and your team are operating the equipment based on the project requirements. You’ll be the one responsible for the safe & efficient use of our equipment, and as Lead Operator, both your team, clients and subcontractors will look to you for support, guidance and expertise.
About the team:
You’ll be joining a hardworking and skilled team, who are used to working to high standards specifications of work. As part of our team of offshore Equipment Operators, you’ll be supported by our Personnel Logistics Manager and our projects for the UK & Europe.

Responsibilities:

- Provide supervision to other Equipment Operators when required

- Stocktake equipment on arrival at worksite, communicating any anomalies and or damage to the client and Company
- Commission equipment at worksite and perform load test operations as per the clients’ requirements, completing all necessary paperwork.
- Operate equipment as per clients’ instructions, ensuring all daily checks and paperwork are completed.
- Complete required onsite paperwork such as post installation checks & maintenance records.
- Complete DCSR sheets in full, with accurate times and descriptions including any observations, delays, damages, daily activities obtaining signed approval from the client.
- Demobilise equipment at the worksite and prepare for shipping, completing any necessary cargo manifests.
- Trouble shoot equipment breakdowns, investigate and rectify
- Hand in project paperwork and expenses in a timely manner post project.
- Engage in any other reasonable activity as requested by Management
- To attend project briefings & de-briefings.
- To attend client inductions/HIRA’s as and when required.
- To complete online client inductions and training as and when required.
- To participate in internal and external training courses where identified.
- Attend client FAT’s when requested.
Required skills / knowledge:
- Offshore certification Including OGUK survival, applicable medical or seamans health certificate

As an Inspection Technician, your role will involve both onshore and offshore work patterns and you would be responsible for performing and supporting on-site inspection services, load testing of Client assets and product change-outs, that may include the commissioning and operating of equipment in a safe, competent and professional manner, ensuring effective communication is maintained between various stakeholders, including but not limited to, the Client, Third Parties and internal Motive departments.

- Working in the workshop on occasion to support mob/demob of equipment.
- Complete required onsite paperwork such as post installation checks & maintenance records.
- Complete Daily Client Service Record (DCSR) sheets in full, with accurate times and descriptions obtaining signed approval from the client.
- Demobilise equipment at the worksite and prepare for shipping, completing any necessary cargo manifests.
- Hand in project paperwork and expenses to Operations Lead in a timely manner post project.
- Adherence to Client safe working practices and quality assurance systems.
- HSEQ – compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations, and the company’s management system.
Required skills / knowledge:
- Where applicable Suitable NDT certification (SNT or PCN Level II).
- Offshore certification.

The Hydraulic Technician will inspect, repair, assemble and test hydraulic equipment as required in accordance with company procedures. They will undertake a variety of tasks that involve the manufacture and maintenance of hydraulic systems. The post holder will ensure products are manufactured efficiently, within the allocated delivery schedule as per operational planner and ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant Health and Safety guidelines.
As a Hydraulic Technician for Motive, you'll become part of a team that has a significant impact on what we do as a business globally. The work you do ensures our Equipment runs safely and the key responsibilities you will have every day will see you become involved in some key projects for our clients. - Clean driving license.

- Proficient in stainless steel tube bending is desirable.

The Project Delivery Manager is responsible for leading the successful execution of all UK Certification and Inspection projects. The role encompasses personnel management and full project lifecycle management, including planning, scheduling, financial oversight and contractual and commercial governance. The Delivery Manager ensures operational excellence through effective leadership of the Certification and Inspection division’s Projects team.

About the role:

Hours: Variable based on set contract
The Offshore Inspector responsible for the completion of our inspection services including but not limited to Lifting Gear Surveys, Load Testing, Wire Rope Inspection and NDT Inspection, to join our global offshore team. This role is responsible for the on-site inspection services that commission and operate equipment in a safe, competent and professional manner, while working side-by-side with the client & Motive Offshore Group departments.
This role offers you the chance to work at the forefront of offshore inspection, gaining hands-on experience across a wide range of specialist services while being part of a highly skilled and supportive team. As a part of our Certification & Inspection team, you’ll become part of a small, hardworking, and skilled team who are used to working collaboratively and to high standards. you'll be supported by our Technical Authority and Operations teams in Kintore, who care deeply about what they do & the impact they have on the services we provide.
And you’ll be working alongside a committed and proud Motive team in the UK and globally that want to play their part in the growth of the business and support each other daily to create a positive, values driven and hard-working professional environment.
Responsibilities:
People
- Adopting the Motive Offshore Group People Values and ensuring their use is embedded throughout day-to-day tasks and decision making.
Supervision and onsite training of less experienced Inspectors, assist with on-going personnel competency. - Use of Motion Kinetic Software to produce good quality inspection reports ready to send to customers
- To be a positive ambassador for Motive Offshore Group Ltd.

- Responsible for the overall safety of themselves and all others, overseeing other Inspectors to ensure inspections and reporting is completed as per company procedures.
- Dealing with clients, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with the company policies and procedures, complying to all Company Safety, Environmental and Quality Policies and Procedures.
Product
- Responsible for the completion of inspection services and the report package.
- Carry out LOLER surveys, capable of leading initial and follow up surveys.
- Ability to perform load testing utilising waterbags and solid weights.
- Perform NDT, dimensional and functional inspection of equipment related to oil and gas industry and renewable sector, management of equipment and personnel.
- Select, calibrate, or operate equipment used in the non-destructive testing of products or materials.
- Where qualified, carry out spooling activities such as wire rope and cable removal, change out and installation.
- Where qualified, carry out various rope access works, including the rig up and inspect rope access equipment prior to and during use.
- Where qualified, carry out visual and NDT examination of all types and construction of high-performance wire rope.
- Complete Daily Client Service Record Forms in full, with accurate times and descriptions obtaining signed approval from the client.
- Stocktake equipment on arrival at worksite, communicating any anomalies and or damage to the client and Operations Team .
- Demobilise equipment at the worksite and prepare for shipping, completing any necessary cargo manifests.
- Travelling to worldwide destinations as and when required.
Required skills / knowledge:
- Relevant Load Testing experience, along with NDT & Lifting Gear Inspection experience
- LEEA Foundation (FOU) Part 1 Entry Exam
- LEEA General (LAC) Lifting Accessories Course
- Magnetic Particle Inspection Level 2
- Dye Penetrant Testing Level 2
- Rope Access - Any Level
- Good communication skills with the ability to prioritise.
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Excellent leadership skills
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Visio)
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

Hours: Full-time
As a Trainee Inspector, you will provide operational support to Motive Certification and Inspection to ensure smooth transition and running of active jobs and verify that all tasks are completed as per the Work in Progress list. The Trainee Inspector will ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant HSEQ guidelines.
This is a 2-year fixed term contract, where you will gain the experience and knowledge of working in our Certification & Inspection workshop, and exposure to working on offshore projects.
This is an opportunity for the right person to begin their career within an Inspection environment but also contribute to the growth of this part of our business. The goal is for the successful person to build up their experience of working offshore to be ready & qualified, at the company's expense, to move to an Offshore contract.

- Liaising and building relationship with the client whilst at the worksite.

- Adherence to client safe working practices and quality assurance systems

Product
- Providing general assistance within the workshop and yard areas.
- Preparing works orders and packing equipment for work scopes, sale items.
- Assisting with the necessary pre and post checks of equipment being mobilised / demobilised
- Preparing wire rope samples for destruction testing
- Maintaining spooling equipment
- Attending toolbox talks, project briefings & de-briefings.
- Attending client inductions / HIRA’s as and when required.
- Completing online client inductions and training as and when required.
- Be available to travel client sites onshore, offshore and overseas at short notice when required.
- When capable, be part of inspection teams carrying out routine surveys and inspections of lifting equipment and their accessories and with immediate reporting of defects or concerns
- When capable, be part of inspection teams carrying out various rope access works such as structural NDT, fabric maintenance, hose inspections in a safe and efficient manner.
- When capable, carry out spooling activities such as wire rope and cable removal, change out and installation, assist with MRT scopes.
- When capable, carry out visual, and NDT examination and pressure lubrication of all types of high-performance wire ropes in accordance with working procedures and COSHH assessments.
- Participating in internal and external training courses where identified.
- Complete internal competency modules as required.
- Assist lead technicians / team leads compiling inspection reports, use of inspection software.
- Completing timesheets in full, with accurate times and descriptions obtaining signed approval from the client.
- Handing in project paperwork and expenses to C&I Operations Team in a timely manner post project.
- Driving personnel to and from airport or client premises, delivery and picking up goods
Required skills / knowledge:
- Clean driving license.
- Working towards offshore certification.
- Working towards LEEA qualifications.
- Working towards suitable NDT certifications
- Planning and Operational knowledge.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to prioritise.
- Must be safety conscious and apply a good quality approach to their work.
