Motive strengthens Americas team with Brazil experts
At Motive, global presence extends beyond having a pin on the map.
Since launching Motive Do Brasil in 2023 with Luis Ferrari - Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) Operations Manager and former Lead Inspector - at the helm, the company has focused on establishing a dependable local presence to support the progression of Brazil’s energy sector.

Fast forward to 2026, in addition to its facility in Macaé, Motive has now expanded its Rio presence and team in direct response to client demand for advanced TIC expertise and locally based rental equipment. This capability supports increasingly complex offshore projects, including deepwater pre salt operations and FPSO installations.
Our growing team in Brazil, now operating from our new Rio de Janeiro office, brings together dedicated professionals whose combined expertise ensures increased technical coverage, deeper local support, and faster turnarounds for clients. With an increasing local asset pool, our strategic priority remains becoming a truly established service provider in the Brazilian market.
Additions to the team this year include Eduardo Sessa, Dan Bolzan, and Flavia Reis:
Eduardo Sessa - Regional Manager
Joining Motive in December 2025, Eduardo heads up the Brazil team, bringing over two decades of senior-level energy sector expertise to our regional operations. His career is defined by a strong track record in long-term managerial roles, including overseeing complex offshore oil and gas projects for Tier 1 providers.
With an extensive understanding of the local marketplace and strong commercial and technical expertise, Eduardo is driving our mission to deliver advanced, safe, and compliant solutions for clients across the region.
Dan Bolzan - Inspection Leader
The Brazil TIC team routinely executes a diverse range of regional projects, from standard Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and Magnetic Rope Testing (MRT) on crane wires, to Phased-Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) and complex wire change-outs and cut-backs.
In March, the team welcomed Inspection Leader Dan Bolzan to strengthen this capability. Bringing extensive industry expertise from across the TIC sector, Dan joins the team with a proven track record in senior inspection roles with prominent companies in the field.
Flavia Reis - Business Support Executive
In May, Motive further strengthened its Brazil operations with the appointment of Flavia Reis as Business Support Executive. With extensive offshore support experience, she is dedicated to driving high standards in client service and project delivery.
From Houston to Brazil, our integrated teams deliver the all-encompassing project execution that global supply chains demand.
Whether it's the US Gulf Coast or the ports of Brazil, our clients receive the same rapid mobilisation and uncompromised expertise.
